When successful lawyer Robert Woodfield (Eric Roberts: Academy Award Nominee: Runaway Train) is the only witness to a murder committed by a former client, he is trapped by attorney/client privilege. Wrestling with his conscience, Woodfield turns to a friend in the D.A.'s office and begins to construct an airtight cast that will convict the killer. However, someone is framing Woodfield from within the police department and when Woodfields's friend is brutally killed, all evidence points to Woodfield's wife.
