聖桑(Camille Saint-Saens)是法國19/20世紀最具影響力的作曲家及鋼琴家之一，自幼便學習音樂，10歲時便舉行第一次音樂會。他跟隨施坦密蒂(Camille-Marie Stamaty)學習鋼琴而卡爾克布雷納(Friedrich Kalkbrenner)則是他的管風琴老師，後來跟隨阿萊維(Jacques Francois Halevy)學習作曲，他將各人所長放進自己作品之中，使其風格雅緻，清澈自然。自遇到李斯特後，他的作品亦受到影響而作了改變。由著名英國管風琴演奏家布魯克斯(Gerard Brooks)以建立於法國魯昂聖圖安教堂(St.Ouen,Rouen)超過三百年歷史的管風琴演繹聖桑多首管風琴樂曲包括[英雄進行曲,作品34(Marche Heroique,Op.34)]、[天鵝(Le Cygne)]、[搖籃曲,作品105(Berceuse,Op.105)]、[黃昏的夢想,作品60(Reverie du Soir,Op.60)]等，歷史悠久的管風琴奏出別具韻味的琴音，優美動聽的旋律於神聖莊嚴的教堂響奏起，帶給您聖桑最偉大的美樂作品。
