Part comedy, part drama, and part George Michael-fueled fantasy, ELI STONE tells the story of a lawyer (the title's Stone, played by Jonny Lee Miller) with an inoperable brain aneurysm that causes him to have strange hallucinations (including several of the British pop star). While his neurologist brother, Nathan (Matt Letsher), has the MRI slides to prove Stone's visions are biologically induced, an acupuncturist, Dr. Chen (James Saito), believes they are indications that the lawyer is a prophet. Stone isn't sure which side to believe, but one thing is certain: the delusions seem to be giving him a conscience. Upon receiving his diagnoses (both medical and religious), the once-devious litigator changes course in his career and commits himself to helping those in need. Created by BROTHERS & SISTERS producers Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim, ELI STONE is a warm and quirky exploration of the intersection of life, faith, and ambition.
