Adapted from a popular Japanese manga, Dance, Subaru! is motivating tale about the self-realization of a young ballerina. Subaru (Meisa Kuroki) and her twin brother Kazuma share a passion for dance and Kazuma dies of a brain tumour at the age of 10 After Kazuma's death, only dancing makes Subaru happy, but it is discouraged by her father. Until Subaru runs into a cabaret owner, Isuzu, who is a retired ballerina herself. Recognizing the talent in Subaru, she takes the kid under her wing and trains her While Liz Park, the star pupil at the famous American Ballet Theatre in New York, sees in Subaru a worthy competitor. Both girls end up contesting in Shanghai. Just as Subaru is ready to challenge at Liz's apparent supremacy in the Final, tragic news from home strikes Subaru out of her stride. Subaru, suffering from high fever, pftches herself against Liz in the Final......
