An author and presenter, Pierre Charvet - who has already been at the origin on FRANCE 5 (a French TV channel) of a pedagogical series called "Simple comme Musique" - ; a conductor who led an international career, Franc,ois Xavier Roth and his orchester Les Sie`cles, excel in playing four centuries of music with the same enthusiasm and same commitment, respecting period instruments, jumping from one tune to another. This is a virtuoso achievement from Franc,ois-Rene' Martin, always serving the musical text, putting in evidence details which are too rarely seen and using the split screen and graphic animation of Gregoire Pont.
