FATHERLAND is considered one of most memorable TV drama ever produced in Hong Kong. It consists of three interrelated storylines set against the turbulent history of China in early 20th century. "The Golden Dream" concludes the trilogy with the realistic portrayal of Chinese workers struggling to get by in the United States in the 1920s.
