The Zhao family has passed on a love of tea and the family's tea business from one generation to the next until fourth-generation inheritor Zhao Fu Xiang (singer-actor Wang Chung Ping), who longs for a different life so much that he conspires to burn down the family's tea plantation. A torrential rainstorm thwarts his plans, but it also carries him away and changes the lives of everyone in his family forever.
Twenty years later, Fu Xiang's wife Tang Mei Lin (Li Shu Zhen, A Little Faith Goes A Long Way) has single-handedly raised two children to adulthood. Her son Zhao Yu (Tender Huang, Story of Time) has taken up the family business, and unlike his father, the kind and gentle Yu has inherited the Zhao family's love of tea. In order to take care of his mother and sister, he has devoted his entire youth to tea. This man with no experience in or mental capacity for love becomes torn between two women: the adorable and playful university student Wu Xin Er (Lee Chia Ying, Love Recipe) and the confident and smart businesswoman Fan Ai Qun (Yang Zishan, So Young).
