Detective Wang Zi Yi (Alex Su) is more interested in looking for his potential wife than tracking down criminals. He always manages to slip out of work just in time during emergencies. One day, he is assigned to pair up with rookie policewoman Gao (Ariel Lin), the daughter of the Police Chief. Gao's by-the-books attitude clashes with Wang's laissez-faire approach. They start to work with each other, however, when they find leads to a murder case and the whereabouts of a drug ring.
