Fans of Grace Chang can hardly afford to miss her marvellous performance in Forever Yours, the only film, believe it or not, in which she doesn?t have to display her skill in songs and dance but instead, touches the hearts of her audience by her straight acting. She plays a strong-willed woman whose overwhelming love gives her husband hope and courage to combat with death. Shot on location completely (a rarity in the Hong Kong cinema of the time), the film is also arguably the masterpiece of Yi Wen, the prolific director known for melodrama and comedy.
