There's a war going on in heaven-has been actually for some time now. The strange thing. though is that it's a war between angels. It seems that ever since God wanted human being to have souls-which angels don't have-some of the angels have copped an attitude. They don't think these talking monkeys deserve souls; they think it means that God loves humans more.
GOD'S ARMY is highlighted by Christopher Walken as an angel named Gabriel Jealous of God's affection for humankind the renegade Gabriel is leading a revolt in heaven. The battling angels are now fighting on Earth. The leader of the good angels is Simon played by Eric Stoltz. Korteas and Virginia Madsen are the hapless mere mortals caught up in the celestial bloodbath.
