The ninth instalment of the Tora-san series. On the road to Kanazawa, Tora-san meets three female tourists, one of them is the sad-looking and beautiful Utako (Sayuri Yoshinaga). Tora-san falls for her at first sight. Afterwards, she comes to Shibamata to visit Tora-san in his old home, which sends him to the sky. But it turns out that Utako comes to confide with Tora-san, for her parents forbid her to marry the man she loves... Tora-san's heart is being broken again.
