Unable to afford the 24.8 Yuan tuition fee, Xiaoyan(13 years old) decides to make some money to pay her tuition during the summer vacation.
Her journey of collecting tuition fee starts with 10 eggs: she steals some eggs from home and sells them for 3 Yuan and buys a pen from a little boy. Wang (her teacher), who wants help Xiaoyan to continue her education, pays a higher price for the pen. Afterwards, she tries to earn more money by raising lambs, but unfortunately, her two baby brothers spoil her plan. The path to dreams is always bumpy!
Eventually on the first day of the new semester, Xiaoyan goes to school punctually, holding exactly 24.8 Yuan in hand. The money is already soaked by sweat......
