Many state officials have fallen victims to a severe purge by corrupted Prime Minister Ka Chi To during the end of the Sung Dynasty. One of them is Ting Chi-Fung's father. By chance, Ting overhears Ka mentions the name of swordsman, Kam Hurricane, as he orders a secret letter to be sent to the Mongolians. She calls upon all upright knights to intercept Kam. Yueng Kim-Ming, martial art expert befriends with Kam after being impressed with his fighting ability and personality. Kam hears that the secret letter is hidden inside Ting's saddle.
